Mr. Mark Taylor has been training in martial arts since 2000. He joined Premier Martial Arts - Lawrence in 2006 and found a practical self-defense system with Premier Krav Maga. Krav Maga (/krɑːv mɑːɡɑː/; Hebrew: קרב מגע‎, [ˈkʁav maˈɡa(ʔ)], lit. "contact combat") is a military self-defense and fighting system developed for the Israel Defense Forces He is continuing his training and growth every day to further his knowledge of Safety & Awareness. Qualifications/Credentials: 15 years of teaching Self Defense & Krav Maga for KMW, KMU & Premier Martial Arts. 15 years of conducting personal safety workshops in Krav Maga for KU, Panda Pediatrics of Lawrence, Newman University, Baker University and many more! He created the Safety & Awareness Program that is Certified through the State “KS-BSRB” for Social Worker Safety & Awareness Training CEU Provider. Mr. Taylor has had the honor of teaching Krav Maga for the USARMY Corp of Engineers, KC District Northeastern Division, 9+ years. He is a Certified 2nd Degree Krav Maga Black Belt through Premier & Krav Maga Universal He is also an A.L.I.C.E Certified Active Shooter Instructor.
